The Glasgow firemen are mourning the loss of one of its own, John “Bubba” Ellington, who passed away last week.
The town is also sad to hear of the passing of Barbara Rosser, and the tragic tree cutting accident that resulted in the death of former state trooper and Natural Bridge High School graduate Chuck Seelke. Remember these families in prayer and other families in town who have lost loved ones in recent days.
Guest speaker at Glasgow Baptist this past week was 21- yearold Liberty University student Elijah Gonsalves. This was his second time to speak to the congregation. The church had a time of fellowship after the service Sunday to honor him as he plans to graduate in May and become part of a team going on a mission trip overseas this summer.
