Better health prayers for my cousin, Dale Fitzgerald, who was in a single car accident. He is home but it will be awhile for full recovery. Prayers also for Tommy Koogler, Shirley Cash, Charlsie Barker, Mabel Berry, Doug Smith and the 2-year-old who was in recent fire. The child is now living with his grandmother, along with his sister, who was spending the night with her grandmother when the fire happened. On Sunday, April 12, from 1 to 4 p.m., Gertie’s will be open for a pancake luncheon. The proceeds will benefit these children. So come out to this event or if you are unable to attend that day, go by Gertie’s and give a donation. It will be much appreciated.

Happy, blessed Easter to everyone. Emory United Methodist Church had an egg hunt Sunday, March 29. They will have a Good Friday service at 7 p.m., April 3. Sonrise Service will be Sunday, April 5, at 7:30 a.m. and Easter morning worship service is at 9 a.m. On Sunday, April 5, Vesuvius Baptist Church will have their Sonrise Service at 7:30 and Easter Morning Service at 11 a.m. Luke Fisher will be pastoring the morning service.
I pray for everyone to receive blessings this week. I pray you remember the One who loved us so much, that he gave his life for us that we may have eternal life. There is no greater love than this.
