The Buena Vista Women of Faith group held their first Friendship & Faith Brunch on the morning of March 14 at the Buena Vista Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Their guest speaker was author Carolyn Newell, who talked about her experience with living in constant pain and her new best-seller book, “Embers of Endurance.” Guest singers were the Ladies of Mercy.
There were around 50 in attendance to hear the message and singing while enjoying handmade snacks and fellowship.
The Buena Vista Women of Faith is a nonprofit group of women of all ages and denominations, working together to help women, children and youth of Buena Vista. Their support comes from fundraisers and donations.
