Happy spring! Apologies for my absence over the past few weeks. My husband Josh and I spent a couple of weeks traveling across the country on a road trip to attend my sister-in-law’s wedding in Logan, Utah, and to see as much of the country along the way as we could. From snow-covered mountains to warm deserts to windy plains and farmlands, overall, we drove 4,900 miles through 18 states.
Sending birthday wishes to Christy Roberts and Cindy Bitz, as well as to St. John’s Episcopal Church members Sharon White and Diane Skillicorn and Faith Baptist Church members Boone Campbell and Hilda Campbell.
At Faith Baptist Church, there will be a men’s prayer breakfast this morning at 8 a.m. A song and praise service will be on March 29 at 6 p.m. featuring singers Tim and Pam Blevins. The Easter communion service will be on April 1 at 6 p.m.
At St. John’s Episcopal Church, the Palm Sunday service will be led by the Rev. Dr. Bob Copenhaver. Many thanks to the Rev. Deacon Linda Ricker for leading service this past Sunday. Thanks also to musicians Bert Buford, Courtney VanOsten and Josh Gardner. Thanks also to Jason Hickman for hosting and providing refreshments for coffee hour.
