The Lexington/Rockbridge Area Ministerial Alliance invites the community to celebrate the start of Holy Week with the annual Palm Sunday Parade this Sunday, March 29, beginning at 9:30 a.m. in Hopkins Green.
Musical selections by bagpipes, and scripture readings and prayers will be offered by local clergy during the event, which will proceed through the downtown before concluding by 10:30. Special prayers will be offered for members of the military and for peace in the Middle East.
