Community members are invited to attend “Meet the Chief,” a public event introducing Lexington’s new police chief, Justin Doll, on Wednesday, March 26, at 5 p.m. in the cafeteria at Lylburn Downing Middle School.
Chief Doll, formerly the chief of police in Anchorage, Alaska, will meet residents and share a brief introduction about himself and his vision for policing in Lexington.
The event will begin with opening remarks from Lexington City Manager Tom Carroll, followed by a short introduction from Doll and responses to several pre-submitted questions. The remainder of the event will be devoted to questions from attendees. The program is expected to last about one hour.
Residents who would like to ask a question, but who cannot attend the event, may submit one through a form on the Main Street Lexington website under the Events tab at mainstreetlexington.org. Responses will be provided following the event.
“Meet the Chief” is co-sponsored by Main Street Lexington and 50 Ways Rockbridge.
