Four Blues Named All-Region

When the 2025-26 basketball season wrapped up with last weekend’s state championship games, coaches released the All-Region C teams, and four members of the Parry McCluer High School boys and girls teams were voted to the squads.

Leading the way for the PM boys were Langston Cook, who was also a first team all-conference selection by the Basketball Coaches Association of Virginia (see separate story), and Nathan Glass, who both received first-team honors, while Jamier Jordan landed on the second team.

For the PM girls, Kayleigh Ramsey, a first-team All-Pioneer District selection, earned a spot on the all-region second team.

A first team All-Region C selection, Cook paced the PM boys in four different categories to help lead the Blues to a 22-5 record and a second straight trip to the Class 1A state quarterfinals.

Shooting 56 percent from the floor, the junior averaged 27.8 points per game while grabbing 6.9 rebounds, swiping 3.1 steals and dishing out 4.6 assists.

Glass, a senior, led the Blues in both field goal percentage (64 percent) and blocked shots (28). Glass averaged 14.7 points per game. He was also a force at the defensive end, pulling down 6.2 rebounds per contest to go along with 2.3 steals per game.

During his junior campaign, Jordan knocked down 55 3-pointers to lead the Blues and earn a spot on the all-region second team. Jordan averaged 10.5 points per game while also nabbing 2.6 steals and handing out 2.0 assists per game.

On the girls’ side, Ramsey added second team All-Region C honors to her all-district accolades after a season in which she tied for the team lead with 10.0 points per game. The senior finished the campaign with 67 rebounds and 45 steals.
