Hoofbeats Therapeutic Riding Center invites community members to attend a volunteer training event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 28. Hoofbeats is located at 662 Mount Atlas Road.

“You don’t need experience with horses to volunteer at Hoofbeats,” said Carol Branscome, program director. “You just have to love people, nature and animals.”

Hoofbeats’ mission is “Horses helping people.” For more than 30 years, Hoofbeats has provided a soft place to land for children and adults who are struggling with physical, mental, emotional, learning and spiritual issues.

“Come share your talents with us,” Branscome said. “You can make a difference at Hoofbeats.”

For more information, call Branscome at (540) 461-1512 and visit Hoofbeats’ Facebook page and website at www. hoof-beats.com.
