The Friends of the Chessie Trail welcome participants of all ages to an educational geology walk this Saturday, March 14, at 10 a.m. on the Chessie Trail.
This 3-mile walk will be led by Chris Connors, Washington and Lee University professor of Earth and Environmental Geoscience, and will begin at the Chessie parking area on Stuartsburg Road at the South River bridge.
Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a water bottle.
