At RCHS, the club, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is sharing love this Valentine’s Day by hosting a toy and snack drive. They are collecting items for the organization Project ASK, which is a childhood cancer foundation.
All seventh period classes at RCHS will be collecting items until Feb. 20. They are looking for items that are single-serving snacks and toys, such as chips, cereal bars, Legos and dolls to go towards this worthy cause. At the end of the drive, the seventh period class that has the most items will win donuts.
Every year, Latin Club holds its carnations fundraiser before Valentine’s Day. During lunches, Latin Club members take orders for carnations in which students can pick a color and a message in both Latin and English to be sent to someone special. On Feb. 13, during seventh period, the coronations will be delivered. The profits from the sales go to the Latin Convention trip and Latin Club parties.
