Buena Vista’s streetscape work taking place along the 21st Street corridor in the vicinity of downtown and the Municipal Building is to cause traffic disruptions this week and next. There will be lane closures, detours and limited parking. Key points are as follows:
- East side of 21st Street – beginning Thursday, Feb. 5, there will be two days offull closure; the alley near City National Bank will remain open; there will be no streetparking.
- West side of 21st Street – Beginning Monday, Feb. 9, one lane will be closed at a time (incoming traffic only for Municipal Building parking lot) for three or four days; all street parking will be closed; traffic leaving Municipal Building parking lot will exit behind the building toward 20th Street; Municipal Building parking will be available.
- Sycamore Avenue – Beginning Feb. 12, one lane will be closed at a time for three or four days; City National Bank access will remain open.
