The Lexington, Rockbridge, Buena Vista Democrat Committee and 50 Ways Rockbridge are planning a “Bearing Witness” event today, Wednesday, Jan. 28, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the corner of Main and Nelson streets in Lexington.
The event is designed to draw attention to the tactics of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
“If so moved, bring a sign with the name of someone who has been a victim of ICE, or a message of support,” said a spokesperson.
