Visiting High Bridge Presbyterian two weeks ago were guests of Lea Braford, Mary Lou and Larry Mullins of Wetumpka, Ala., and Patrick, James, Emma and Luke Braford of Richmond. They were in town for a surprise birthday party for Lea. Mary Lou is Lea’s sister. Also helping to celebrate was Lea’s brother and his wife from Amelia.

The Presbyterian Women hosted the Ruritan Club for a fundraiser dinner on Tuesday, Jan. 20.

The annual meeting for the Presbyterian Women will be held after worship on Sunday, Jan. 25. Installation of officers and yearly reports will be given under the leadership of moderator Faye Worley. All women are invited to this meeting and a light lunch will be served.

This year’s Comfort Care for Women Baby Bottle fundraiser is going on now. Grab a bottle from the basket in the vestibule, fill it with your coins, bills, or checks for donation, and return to the basket.

Small Church begins meeting again on Thursday, Jan. 29, at 7 p.m. at the fellowship hall. Bible study will be led by Joe Hawes. Light refreshments will be served, and everyone is welcome to attend.

The bloodmobile will be at the Natural Bridge Fire Department on Saturday, Jan. 31.

The Natural Bridge food pantry will open promptly at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24, and close at 11 a.m. Canned soups are needed for the month of January.
