Grace Episcopal Church in Lexington will be presenting Evensong, an Anglican tradition of sung Evening Prayer, on Sunday, Jan. 25, at 5 p.m.
The service, featuring music by Henry Purcell, Michael Praetorius, Felix Mendelssohn, Susan Matsui and Martha Burford, marks the conversion of St. Paul and recognizes the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.
Guest musicians William McCorkle, Dr. Mackenzie Romriell and Dr. Scott Williamson will join Burford and the Choir of Grace. The Rev. Dr. R. David Cox will officiate. Morning eucharists are at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. Tuck Bowerfind, celebrant and preacher.
