While the gallery members take their winter break, Cloud Haven Studio will present “Love Art Month” at Nelson Gallery. Patrons can enjoy hands-on classes and activities centered on contemporary Oshi-e and create art pieces, pins, journals, notecards and Valentines for local nursing homes.
Classes run three Saturdays and two Wednesdays; morning and afternoon and full-day sessions are available, and they are open to adults, youths over age 13, and groups.
Special highlights include: •Work with featured artist and author Wendy Christine Duke;
•Shop supplies, kits, books, and exclusive fabric/yarn from local shops;
•Gift bags, door prizes, creative stations, Love Wall, and community outreach.
