Library Book Sale Starts Tomorrow

The January book sale at the Lexington branch of the Rockbridge Regional Library will be held Thursday, Jan. 8, from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; Friday, Jan. 9, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and Saturday, Jan. 10, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

This sale will feature the usual selection of fiction, nonfiction, children’s books and paperbacks. The library accepts any books in a reasonable condition, but none that are moldy or damaged. Without donations, there would be no book sales.

Prices range from children’s books for 50 cents, audio books for $1, paperback books for 50 cents, and hardback books for $2. On Saturday, shoppers can fill a paper bag with books for just $2.

Staff and volunteers work together to make the monthly book sale a success. Volunteers, who work in shifts, are needed for the days of the book sale especially on Saturday. To volunteer to help with the book sale, fill out a volunteer form at the front desk of the library or request it online by emailing the librarian, link available at the bottom of the library’s website at https://www. rrlib.net.
