Buena Vista City Council passed a resolution Dec. 11 honoring the Parry McCluer boys cross country team for its “extraordinary” success during the 2025 season. The Fighting Blues not only won their third consecutive Class 1 state championship (and fifth in seven years) but were ranked No. 1 in the state across all classifications by MileStat. com. Mayor Tyson Cooper presented the team with the resolution.
