‘To Not Eat As Much Candy’

Area Children Make Their Resolutions For 2026
‘To Not Eat As Much Candy’

Welcome to the last day of 2025, and we hope it’s been a good one for you and your family. As we get ready to start a new year, many of us adults are making resolutions ‒ although, admittedly, we may drop some or all of them by Valentine’s Day. Children also have their goals for the new year – if we ask them anyway – and we once again did just that. We’d like to thank the principals, teachers and students at Waddell and Natural Bridge elementary schools for participating in this year’s edition of the New Year’s children’s writings project. As you will see, some of their resolutions are similar to ours, like not eating as much candy and helping others, while others are unique to children – most of us wouldn’t dream of getting on a trampoline. We hope you enjoy them all and we wish each of you a healthy and prosperous new year.
