Beacon Credit Union Donates To RARA
Beacon Credit Union recently presented a donation of $5,000 to the Rockbridge Area Relief Association at the credit union’s Buena Vista office.
Representing RARA at the presentation were Lindsey Pérez, executive director; Valerie Moliterno, RARA board member and Development Committee chair; and Dennis Cross, board member.
Representing Beacon Credit Union were Erin Fitts, Virginia Wolfe, Kayleigh Jennings and Laura Shafer.
The donation to RARA was one of seven made by the credit union in its service area.
“Beacon is committed to giving back in our community in the form of volunteer efforts and financial support of many local charities and organizations that provide needed services for children and adults,” said Greg McConville, president and CEO of Beacon Credit Union.
