Approximately 500 volunteers came out to the Virginia Horse Center for the annual Christmas Basket Packing Day on Saturday. This year the program helped 3,407 food insecure people in the area, including 2,206 adults and 1,201 children. The number of boxes packed totaled 1,860 and 574 toy bags were distributed as well.
