This holiday season, multiple RCHS classes are participating in the Festival of the Trees that is put on by the Natural Bridge State Park.
Each class participating will decorate the tree to represent their class. The tree will then be put on display and members of the community will vote on their favorite trees by placing donation items under the tree. This year the trees will support Natural Bridge/Glasgow Food Pantry and Unity4Kids for children ages 10-16. This event goes till Dec. 31.
The RCHS Latin Club traveled to Richmond on Nov. 23-24 to participate in the 2025 Latin Convention. Over the course of the trip, they participated in a variety of academic contests including mythology, derivatives, Roman history and life, Latin vocabulary and grammar, and Latin literature. They were also able to go to banquets and listen to speakers.
