On Dec. 8, at 6 p.m., the Vesuvius Secret Pal Club will meet at the home of Shelia Cash, 525 Tye River Turnpike, in downtown Vesuvius. We usually play some games. Those from last year will exchange gifts and we will draw new names for the year 2026. This group has been in existence 50-plus years. It was started by Irene Cash. I would like to thank Gertie’s for their awesome meal on Thanksgiving Day. There was so much food that was shared with those who came.
When you read this Wednesday, Dec. 3, it will be 22 days until Christmas. For me this year has passed so quickly. But I am looking forward to seeing what God has prepared for us in 2026. Have a blessed week and stay warm.
