The Rockbridge Retired Teachers will meet on Dec. 8 at 11 a.m. in the Community Room of the RCHS Rockbridge Innovation Center.
The meal will include fresh soup, salad, and dessert. Anyone planning to attend and have lunch should reply to their email from Joan Whitesell or to Kathy Burant at [email protected] by Dec. 5.
Miranda Fitzgerald’s students will perform a selection of holiday music, and Alice Shewey will lead the memorial candlelight service honoring deceased members, teachers, and administrators.
The Scholarship Fund Bazaar will be held during the meeting, so members should bring homemade goodies to share (cookies, pies, cakes, rolls, pickles, jams, floral arrangements, wreaths, table decorations, plants, homemade scarves, quilts, and aprons, etc.). Donations are also welcome. Proceeds benefit the annual scholarship fund for two graduates from RCHS and PMHS who plan to major in education.
