A holiday market will be held at Rockbridge County High School on Sunday, Dec. 7, sponsored by the school’s Parent Teacher Student Association and the Student Council Association.
The event will run from noon to 5 p.m. There will be a variety of vendors attending, including those selling homemade bakery items, wreaths, flowers, and handmade clay earrings. The event also features activities such as making your own Christmas cards, pictures with Santa and Santa Claws (who is the Wildcat), raffles, and various prizes. The RCHS band will also be performing at this event.
This is the second year this event has taken place, and the organizers are hoping it will continue to grow every year. All funds will go to the PTSA to help support SCA throughout the year at various events, such as homecoming and prom, and to help fund teacher wish lists.
