The Rockbridge Ballet will present four winter performances of its production of “The Nutcracker” on Dec. 12, 13, and 14 at Washington and Lee University’s Lenfest Center for the Arts.
Audiences can enjoy a full-length rendition of this classic holiday favorite. Follow young Clara as she battles the mischievous Mouse King, journeys through the enchanting Kingdom of Sweets, meets its many colorful citizens, and returns home with magical stories to tell.
Featured company dancers performing principal roles include Stelly Crocker and Bethany Hickman as Clara; Ava Perdew and Annalee Penny as the Sugar Plum Fairy; and Gabe Bohling as the Nutcracker.
“The Nutcracker” will be performed on Friday, Dec. 12, at 6:30 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 13, at 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.; and Sunday, Dec. 14, at 2 p.m.
