An 83-year-old Buena Vista man was killed Friday evening in a single-vehicle crash on U.S. 60 in Rockbridge County, according to the Virginia State Police.
The crash occurred at 6:52 p.m. on Nov. 14, about one mile east of Reid Hollow Road, near the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway. A 2012 Honda Odyssey traveling westbound ran off the right side of the roadway, went down an embankment, struck several trees and overturned.
The driver, identified as Eugene Wilson, died at the scene. State Police said he was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
