Blues Fall To Grayson County In Regional Quarterfinals, 42-7

The Parry McCluer High School football season concluded with a 42-7 road loss to Grayson County in the Region 1C quarterfinals on Friday night in Independence.

The sixth-seeded Fighting Blues (6-5) scored their only touchdown on a 6-yard pass from quarterback Nathan Glass to Parker Snider to give PM a 7-0 lead. However, the third-seeded Blue Devils (7-4) took over from there, gradually pulling away. Grayson County will play at second-seeded Craig County (10-1) in the Region 1C semifinals next Friday night.

The Blues, who went 2-2 in the Pioneer District this year, will graduate six seniors: Glass, Jonavan Dunn, Zavion Dunn, Timothy Lesher, Landon Orren and Jacob Shafer.
