Proceeds from the event will be used for ministry and mission projects.
A raffle drawing will be held at the Effinger Volunteer Fire Department on Saturday, Nov. 22, at 7 p.m. at the firehouse. Fifteen winners will be selected for the donated prizes listed on the Effinger Fire Department’s Facebook page. Tickets are $1 each, $5 for six tickets, or $10 for 12 tickets. Tickets may be purchased from any auxiliary member or by calling (540) 460-3980.
The Effinger Community Thanksgiving Service will be held on Sunday, Nov. 23, at 5 p.m. at the Palmer Community Center. The event is sponsored by the Effinger Ruritan Club. A time of fellowship will be provided prior to the service.
The Effinger Ruritan Club is inviting area residents to nominate or share information about individuals who have been actively involved in community service during the past year.
