This Sunday was Dedication Sunday at New Monmouth Presbyterian Church. In gratitude for all God has done in our midst, we commit to give of our time, talents and resources to support the work of God’s church. Pledge cards can still be put in the offering plate or given to Donna Fix. Thank you to the New Monmouth Children’s Choir who led the congregation in singing “House of the Lord” for Sunday’s worship service with Clementine Clark on drums, Cordelia Clark on keyboard, Calvin on piano, Ambrose Clark on bass drum, Leila Hackett and Marigold Clark on vocals, and special percussion help from Rosaleigh, Rayella, and Ryleigh-Ann Hodges. Thanks Laura Hotinger for leading this group of young musicians! Thank you to Janeen Welsh for leading the liturgy.
The youth group will be participating in a 24-hour fast together beginning Saturday evening, and anyone else from the church community is invited to join them. This can be a fast from all food or one food in particular, social media, television, etc.
Thank you to everyone who showed up for the Fun Day at church on Saturday morning. Thanks to all those who helped spruce up the church building and grounds.
