Following the conclusion of the Pioneer District tournament on Thursday, five Parry McCluer High School volleyball players received all-district honors.
Senior middle blocker Kadence Zollman was named to the all-district first team, while senior outside hitter Allie Cullen was selected to the all-district second team. Three Blues were named all-district honorable mention: junior middle blocker Emory Slagle, freshman setter Jorja Catlett and freshman libero Presley Camden.
The Fighting Blues, the third seed in the tournament, fell to fourthseeded Bath County (19-9 overall, 5-5 district) 3-2 in the third-place match on Thursday night. Through the tournament, PM was 13-12 overall, after going 6-4 in the district during the regular season.
The Blues are under the direction of first-year head coach Jilane Hall.
