Seeing The Relics Of A Saint

Seeing The Relics Of A Saint

On Oct. 24, 362 people, from Richmond to West Virginia, as well as locally, flocked to St. Patrick Catholic Church to venerate the relics of St. Padre Pio. The relics were brought from the National Centre for St. Padre Pio, Barto, Pa., by Joseph Santoro, guardian of the relics and external programs director, who spoke multiple times about the saint, the relics, and the National Centre. Two Masses were celebrated by Father J. Maxwell Appiagyei, pastor, with many hours open for private veneration. The event was sponsored by the church’s Adult Faith and Evangelization Team.
