Virginia Military Institute Athletics and Oransi, a Radfordbased company that makes air purifiers, recently donated 30 air purifiers to Fairfield Elementary School. VMI Athletics staff, including Athletic Director Jamaal Walton, cadetathletes, and the Oransi staff, hand-delivered the air purifiers on Sept. 26. These air purifiers are designed to help clean the air, preventing mold and mildew, along with helping keep the students safe from sickness during cold and flu season.As a thank you for the donation, third grade students drew “thank you” cards for VMI and Oransi. Cadets also sat down with first grade students to help color “Moe” mascot coloring sheets.
