Oct. 12, 2025 Dear Editor Welcome to our freedom killing, fake excuses, frenzy filled road to fascism! Trump is not pulling any punches to get us there as quickly as and anyway possible. It’s as if he tore some pages out of Hitler’s “Mein Kampf,” and refashioned it “Fascism, American Style”.
First go after a minority group (immigrants) and demonize them as rapists, drug dealers and murderers. The same plan Hitler used on the Jews. Then “round em up” using a deputized cohort of thugs who don’t care if they are illegal or not - just as long as the skin color fits the mold (non-white). Hitler had the SS, Trump has ICE.
Second, declare your military to be part of the Department of War, not Department of Defense and that the real enemy lies within the very ranks of our own U.S. citizens. That way you can demonize half of our citizens who don’t agree with your policies, declare them traitors for that reason, and deploy the military to those (primarily blue) cities to stop our right to peaceful assembly.
Thirdly, accept an illegal gift (airplane) from a Muslim country known to support terrorists so that you can gratefully offer them a place in our own back yard (Idaho) for a military base of their own as a way of saying “thank you.” I’m sure those red loving MAGA supporters there are beginning to see purple rage at this unbelievable insult to those loyal supporters - none of which want an easy possible way to funnel Muslim terrorists right to their back door.
Hey, this fascist leader just keeps getting better at role he promised he would fulfill if elected - bonafide dictator. I tried repeatedly to warn people, but no one in red hat land seemed to be listening. I sure hope they’re listening now. It is time to stand up to this sick destroyer of our democracy. Wake up folks!
