Kerrs Creek

Rachel Clark, (630) 607-9938 New Monmouth Presbyterian Church gathered for a beautiful morning of worship together on Sunday. Gary Swink was the lay leader, the “ukeladies” (Karen Duff, Teresa Thompson, Joann Blouin, and Hope Bird) offered a prelude and led the praise song. Peter Lipsett and Tim Welsh shared information about the church’s capital campaign that begins now and goes through 2026. Funds are being raised to complete some projects around the church such as replacing the floor and painting in the sanctuary, replacement of HVAC units, and installing insulation.

Pastor Casey Clark preached from Genesis 10 on God’s love and care for the nations. Laura Hotinger and Dianne Swink provided music.

A chili dinner was held at the church on Sunday evening. Thanks to all who came out for a wonderful evening of food and fellowship.

For those who would like to join the church, a new members class will be organized to find out more. Talk to Pastor Casey for more information. For youth who are interested in becoming members, a confirmation class will be held in early 2026. Let
