Better health prayers for Mabel Berry, Gwin Berry, Tyler Clem and Charlie Barker. Charlie is a dear friend of mine from Crimora. She lost her husband in July. She has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She has chosen, due to being weak, not to do treatments. She wants the quality of life over quantity. I admire her for this decision as she is 87.
Sympathy is extended to the family and friends of Jessie Wilhelm.
The Vesuvius Community Building will be a poling place on Nov. 4, Election Day. Please come out that day for the Virginia gubernatorial election. On Nov. 15, we will have our annual Vesuvius Holiday Xpress bazaar, from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. We will have a breakfast and lunch menu. The proceeds will go towards the upkeep of our building.
