Brain Injuries Connections, VAST, CAN Event Slated

The community is invited to a Business After Hours hosted by Brain Injury Connections of the Shenandoah Valley (BICSV), Valley Association for Specialized Training (VAST), and the Community Awareness Network (CAN) of Rockbridge County.

The event will take place on Thursday, Oct. 16, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Buena Vista Innovation Accelerator, 245 W 21st St.

Guests will have the opportunity to meet the Brain Injury Connections team and learn about their work supporting individuals and families living with brain injury; tour the new BICSV office and the Buena Vista Innovation Accelerator; connect with representatives from VAST and CAN of Rockbridge County to learn more about their programs and community impact; and network with local business leaders, community members, and professionals in a relaxed setting.

Light refreshments will be served. “We’re thrilled to open our doors and welcome the community into our new space,” said Anne Fitzgerald, executive director. “Partnering with VAST and CAN for Business After Hours gives us the perfect opportunity to connect with our neighbors and showcase what we have to offer. This is exactly the kind of collaborative energy that drives our community forward.”
