The Rockbridge County High School football team suffered a 52-0 road loss to Shenandoah District rival Wilson Memorial on Friday night in Fishersville.
The Green Hornets (5-1 overall, 4-0 district), who have shut out their last three opponents, led 35-0 after the first quarter and 49-0 at halftime. WM quarterback Keyvon Jones ran for two touchdowns and threw a TD pass.
The Wildcats (0-7, 0-4), shorthanded again due to injuries, will continue district action with their homecoming game against Riverheads (3-3, 2-2) next Friday at 7 p.m. in Lexington.
