The first weekend of October saw two very different events in the Rockbridge area. On Saturday, the annual McCormick Farm Mill Day in Raphine signaled the start of a month filled with fall activities, while on Sunday, a Rockbridge SPCA Dog Swim at the Lexington Golf and Country Club marked the end of the summer swim season at the club.
