Epstein Files Should Be Released
Sept. 29, 2025 Editor, The News-Gazette: Pedophilia, the sexual coruption of young girls or boys, is a despicable crime. Few if any people in Rockbridge County would disagree.
Our Congress, and our elected representatives, will soon vote on whether or not to release the Epstein files, so the public can understand who among U.S. public figures, present and past, participated with Epstein in these horrible acts. We the voters have a right as well as a need to know. The victims and families of the victims have a right for the public to know. Justice demands that the files be made public.
We in Rockbridge County have voted and sent three representatives to Congress: Tim Kaine, Mark Warner, and Ben Cline. I urge every reader to watch how our representatives vote for the release of the Epstein files. Our children deserve justice. FRED FEVRIER Walkers Creek
