Oct. 3, 2025 Editor, The News-Gazette: Rockbridge County is very fortunate to have such an accomplished and respected sheriff’s office. The men and women of the office are a well-trained and dedicated group of professionals devoted to keeping our communities safe.
Such a dedicated group of professionals need and deserve an outstanding leader. Fortunately, they have that in Sheriff Tony McFaddin. Having served as my chief deputy and being selected to serve in the same role by Sheriff Funkhouser, Tony has played a significant role in shaping the office of the sheriff into what we have today. As sheriff, Tony has continued to advance the mission of his office by setting new goals and objectives and is providing the leadership to ensure those goals are met.
Sheriff Tony McFaddin has a proven record of service and leadership to the sheriff’s office and to the citizens of Rockbridge County. Please join me in voting for Sheriff Tony Mc-Faddin this election.
