For Brown

Oct. 1, 2025 Editor, The News-Gazette: Community-minded, dedicated service, and strong leadership are qualities that Boyd Brown would bring to the Board of Supervisors.

A 20-year resident of Rockbridge County, Boyd and his family are involved in every aspect of our community. His daughters attended and graduated from our K-12 school system and his wife worked in our local health care system. Boyd and family know the importance of volunteering and helping a neighbor in need.

His service to our nation as a U.S. Army infantry officer, post military career as a national security professional, and leading his private company he founded solidifies the breadth of experience that Rockbridge County needs to achieve balance between quality of life, economic vitality, and pathway to the future.

Boyd’s approach, “Listen to listen,” means he hears you when you want to be heard on topics that impact you and the community.

Since 2023, I have served with Mr. Brown on the Rockbridge County EDA and watched his approach used effectively. H is leadership on the EDA is strong and decisive to ensure the right decision is made.

Boyd Brown’s community approach and service, strong leadership and business/financial management expertise make him the right choice for county Board of Supervisors, Kerrs Creek. JAY WILLIAMS Rockbridge County
