Kent W. Dunn, a native of Glasgow, is hoping to retain his seat on Glasgow Town Council in the upcoming elections.
By continuing his service on Town Council, he is working to “help make Glasgow a better place to live by creating jobs, and seeking activities for the kids to do in town.” He also hopes to help reduce crime and drugs in town.
Dunn is a graduate of Natural Bridge High School and served in the U.S. Marines. He was employed at the former Natural Bridge Juvenile Corrections Center. When the camp closed he went to work at Modine Manufacturing, from which he retired.
He and wife, Donna have been married for 40 years and are the parents of two adult children and two grandchildren. They are members of Union Baptist Church.
In his free time, Dunn said he enjoys working on “hot rods.”
