The Goshen First Aid Crew is holding its second annual fall festival this weekend. The festival, which the crew describe as “a cherished community tradition that brings together families, neighbors, and first responders for a day of autumn fun, food, and festivities,” will take place on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Goshen First Aid Crew’s carnival grounds located at 9850 Maury River Road in Goshen. This event is part of the Goshen First Aid Crew’s Community Outreach Program, which began in 2023.
This year’s festival promises something for everyone, including local craft vendors, artisans, baked goods, family yard sales and much more. Food from First Due BBQ and Goshen First Aid Crew’s chicken quarters will be available, and there will be a meetand- greet with Goshen First Aid Crew members, as well as emergency vehicle tours. There will be a kids’ zone with games, face painting and prizes, and raffle tickets will be sold throughout the event.
Goshen First Aid Crew is the last remaining EMS agency completely comprised of volunteers. Proceeds from the fall festival chicken sale will support the Goshen First Aid Crew’s ongoing efforts to provide life-saving emergency services and maintain vital equipment. Chicken quarters are $8 and meals, which include a side of green beans and potatoes, baked apples, a roll, and a drink, are $12.
“This event isn’t a fundraiser — it’s a celebration of the community and the amazing people who live here,” said Crew Captain James Sensabaugh. “We’re proud to serve this community, and we’re excited to welcome everyone for a day of fun and connection.”
Admission is free, and donations are welcome. Parking will be available on-site for free, and all activities are family friendly.

There are still openings for vendors and anyone interested in being a vender can email [email protected] for more information. There is no vendor fee for this event, so all funds made from sales remain with the groups/businesses.
