Several members of P.E.O. (Philanthropic Education Organization) Chapter BG/Lexington enjoyed a cup of tea as they planned the chapter’s Tea Party scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 22, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Grace Episcopal Church. The P.E.O. Sisterhood is a nonprofit organization that has helped more than 128,000 women pursue educational goals by providing more that $457 million in educational assistance. The Tea Party is being planned to raise funds to support P.E.O’s goals of motiving, educating and celebrating women. Information and reservations to attend the tea will be available soon.
