Victoria Station in Goshen returned to life this past weekend as the steam train excursions began. A new entrance (above) with new fencing constructed by Will Harris’ family and North Fork Lumber employees greeted passengers. Will Harris can be seen in photo at top right talking to a railroad volunteer before Thursday’s VIP/media run. On Sunday, members of the Goshen Volunteer Fire Department (below) were busy manning one of two food booths on site, and handing out free firefighter’s hats to children (at right). The 611 can be seen pulling into the station after the morning run at far right, where people of all ages later gathered in front of the engine and took selfies. (Mary Woodson photos)
