Sept. 29, 2025 Editor, The News-Gazette: Then: Trump has had 88 criminal charges; found guilty on 34 felony counts of falsified business records; gypped students at Trump University for an education they paid for and never got which resulted in his having to pay 27 million to settle three lawsuits to prevent a fraud conviction; was convicted in a court of peers of sexual abuse; and on 1/6/21 instigated a viscous physical attack on our Capitol in an attempt to overthrow our government; and evidence points to Trump having had a close personal relationship with Epstein (Epstein’s island of very, very young g irls, l ike 13, t rafficked to wealthy friends and business associates). There is his birthday card to Epstein and a video of him with Epstein googling and commenting on the young girls.
Now: Ethnic cleansing as part of his white supremacy agenda dismantling of a multiracial democracy; destroying our freedom of speech and press unless flattering of him; installing National Guard units in Democratic cities (martial law coming?); reversal of climate change mitigation strategies ignoring scientists’ warnings of dire consequences; interfering with freedom to vote; fired intelligent, qualified federal scientists and replaced them with incompetents (dangerous) and quacks like Kennedy; withholding funds from colleges or organizations who are not performing according to Trump’s personal agenda; daily spews lies and hate; at the Smithsonian removed the fact of his two impeachments and removed Native American and Tuskegee contributions to winning WWII; escalating Israel’s genocide of Palestinians to build his “Riviera of the Middle East” in the Gaza Strip; pressuring the Supreme Court to bend and twist law and precedents squashing lower courts’ attempts to hold Trump accountable to the constitution and rule of law.
