Thank you to all those who signed up to help with Sunday school for the youngest age group. New Monmouth is looking for a nursery worker for Sunday mornings from 9:45 to 12:15 p.m. Background check is required and compensation is $20 per hour. We would like to continue with lay leaders and more voices sharing in parts of the worship service. Let Casey or Rachel know if you would like to share prayers, readings, announcements or more. The sign up sheet also
has opportunities to help with greeting on Sunday mornings as well as supplying flowers for the sanctuary.
The Tuesday morning prayer group continues to meet at 7 at the church. We are reading “Enjoying Jesus,” and newcomers are welcome. The Men’s Bible Study meets at Sweet Treats on Wednesday mornings at 7.
The Lunch Bunch had a great time gathering at Sunrise Diner last week. Our next lunch bunch is on Tuesday, Oct. 14, at 12:30 p.m. at Gina’s Trattoria.
The annual chili and cornbread dinner will take place on Sunday, Oct. 19. More details are coming soon.
Advent wreath making will happen on Nov. 23 after worship. Please let Rachel Clark know if you will be making one for your family so she can order enough rings and candles. Everyone will bring greens to share.
