Friday, Sept. 5 -- The Parry McCluer High School football team defeated Page County 46-12 in Buena Vista.
The Fighting Blues led 27-12 at the break, but they pulled away by outscoring the Panthers (0-2) 19-0 across the final 24 minutes. With the win, PM improved to 2-0 for just the second time since the 2014 campaign.
The Blues will take on longtime rival James River in Buchanan next Friday, with kickoff slated for 7 p.m.
