PM Second At Blacksburg Relays

The Parry McCluer High School boys cross country team started the season by placing second at the Blacksburg Relays on Saturday at Blacksburg High School.

PM’s Kebryl Chandler had the second-fastest time of 110 runners on the 2-kilometer course, trailing only William Zealand from Pacers Homeschool. Each relay had five team members.

Fighting Blue Logan Wheelock ran the sixth-fastest time, and teammate Caleb Cooper ran the eighth-fastest time. Other Blues competing in the relay were Josh Cooper (17th-fastest) and Hinckley Lovelace (22nd).

Finishing times were not recorded accurately and were being sorted by video assistance, and full team results were not provided. PM head coach Chris Poluikis noted the Blues were just a couple seconds shy of winning the race, trailing only Blacksburg.
