Hoofbeats Seeks Volunteers For Fall

Hoofbeats Seeks Volunteers For Fall
A HOOFBEATS volunteer guides young riders from the riding ring following an Aug. 9 performance for family members, friends and supporters.

Hoofbeats Therapeutic Riding Center invites community members to come out and volunteer this fall. The riding session kicked off on Aug. 26.

“You don’t have to have experience with horses to volunteer at Hoofbeats,” said Carol Branscome, program director. “You just have to love people, nature and animals.”

Hoofbeats’ mission is “Horses helping people.” Hoofbeats provides a soft place to land for children and adults who are struggling with physical, mental, emotional, learning and spiritual issues. The program is located at 662 Mount Atlas Rd. and has been operating for more than 30 years.

“Come share your talents with us,” said Branscome. “You can make a difference at Hoofbeats.”

For more information, call Branscome at (540) 4611512 and visit Hoofbeats’ Facebook page and website at www.hoof-beats.com.
